Hotel
The city of Pesaro
The capital of the Marche's Urbino province, this appealing city is an attractive seaside resort, a thriving fishing port. Its elegant broad streets have worthwhile sights to hold your attention and after a day on one of its uncrowded beaches, a fish supper by the sea is hard to beat. At the heart of the city lies the wide main square, Piazza del Popolo. Sipping a cool drink from one of the smart bars flanking the piazza, admire the sea-horses and tritons that decorate the sparkling fountain in the centre. Pesaro is the closest city to the village of Tavullia and home of Valentino Rossi.

Race tickets
Misano is quite small (50,000 capacity) compared to other circuits and moving freely around the circuit is not possible. So to maximise your Misano experience we are providing you with two grandstand tickets. This allows you to see the bikes on different sections of the circuit. On Saturday you have reserved seats in L grandstand in front of Variante Parco. This grandstand is very close to the exit of the pit lane. You are very close to the riders. On Sunday reserved seats in C grandstand. This premier grandstand offers a great panoramic view of the giant hairpin and the Curva Misano. A prime overtaking spot. Both grandstands benefit from Giant TV screens . They are also very close to restaurants and merchandising areas.
The history of the circuit
The Misano motor racing circuit was designed in 1969 and has always been under private management.
The beginning of the 1990s saw the launching of a renovation project which over successive phases guaranteed the
future of the circuit.
The new era.
In 2005 the circuit launched a radical renovation and modernisation project.
A new main entrance was inaugurated, followed in 2006 by the new medical centre,
an area of 300 sq. m. which ideally represents the circuit’s historical and scrupulous attention to safety issues.
At the end of 2006 the circuit was closed to permit the construction of a new even safer and more beautiful track, capable of hosting
MotoGP races.
In record-breaking time, only five months, radical work was carried out not only on the track,
which was lengthened to 4,180 m with a reversal in the direction of travel (now clockwise), but also on structural parts.
There are now four entrances to the circuit, the seating capacity of the stands increased to over 23,000.
At the end of this impressive modernisation process the circuit also changed its name, becoming the ‘Misano World Circuit’ in 2007.
All of the structural upgrades of the facility have been accompanied with an innovative technological
investment as regards the total wiring of the circuit and Wi-Fi
coverage for Internet connections over the entire area of around four square km.
Welcome Reception Party
An opportunity to meet your fellow guests. Talk about the weekend ahead whilst enjoying complementary drinks and snacks. The party is held on Friday evening around the hotel Vittoria's terraced pool.
Pit Lane Walk
If you could arrive on Wednesday you could take advantage of the open pit lane and and meet riders session. A great opportunity to get close to the riders, their race bikes and to look into the team garages.
Visit to Tavullia
For many guests this visit to Tavullia which takes place on Saturday is the reason they have come to the Misano Grand Prix. After the completion of the qualifying sessions our bus takes us to Valentino Rossi's home town of Tavullia. The town is at fever pitch. Everything is painted in yellow 46's; the main road, houses, cafes, restaurants, official buildings are all turned yellow. We visit the Rossi fan club and memorabilia shop, before joining the Rossi fans in the local bars and Pizzerias.
Celebration dinner
The Celebration Dinner has become a much loved part of the MotoExpress race weekend. An opportunity to relax and chat with newly made friends. To recount the wonderful experiences of a high octane race weekend enjoyed.
A traditional Italian feast with complimentary wine served on the terrace of the hotel Vittoria. We dine in typical Italian style, grouped around long tables. The conversation just like the wine flows late into the evening as we relive the excitement of the last few days. A wonderful end to a truly memorable weekend.
Extra Days
Take advantage of our special MotoExpress extra night rates and transform your MotoGP weekend into a wonderful Italian holiday.
It's so easy to discover the region. The local railway station provides fast access to Bologna. Previous guests have visited the Ducati factory in Bologna and enjoyed a tour of the museum.
The beautiful hill top university city of Urbino can be reached by local buses/ but perhaps you just want to chill out in your beautiful surroundings of Pesaro and who could argue with that?

What you've said
Hi John & Linda,
Just wanted to say thank you once more for the fabulous weekend at the Misano MotoGP.
You and Linda did a fantastic job the whole weekend, from the Welcome Party through to the Farewell Dinner.
The grandstand seats were excellent and the visit to Tavulia a great experience.
And of course, you even gave up your Friday afternoon to accompany me and other ‘early bird’ arrivals (geeks!) to the Friday free practice.
I can honestly say that this was by far an above the best organised MotoGP trip I’ve been on and
I very much hope I’ll have the opportunity to travel with you guys again. I’ve attached some photos that I took that by all means you can add to the album should you wish to do so (I can send the larger originals if you prefer).
Thanks again to you both.
Kind regards
Steve Maund
We invite guests to return to this section after they have attended the race and to share their enjoyment of the event with others.
