German Motogp 2010 -16th to 19th July
Superb package, charming family run hotel
close to the Sachsenring circuit.

Summer time in Europe and for motorcycle race fans the world over there's only one place to be, Germany and the legendary Sachsenring circuit in Saxony.  The circuit is absolutely awesome, the grandstands provide stunning views of the race action and the efficient event organisation makes for a winning MotoGP weekend. Our favourite MotoGP of the season.

You're sure to enjoy your stay at our family run Saxon Hotel  near the town of Hohnstein-Ernstthal. From the Friday evening welcome BBQ to your departure on Monday, your hosts go out of their way to make sure you have the best time ever.
The hotel has a minibus on standby (chargeable) so that you can travel into town for all the motogp festivities and concerts  that take place in the town square.

Friday

Fly into Altenburg airport. where you will be met and transferred to your Sachsenring hotel (optional transfer).
Guests can relax in the hotel gardens or around the pool, perhaps sampling one or two of  the hotel's great German beers.  In the evening we have arranged a   Welcome Reception and BBQ, later we go into town for the free MotoGP concert.

Saturday

Short coach transfer to the circuit for the qualifying sessions. Your weekend ticket (valid Fri/Sat/Sun) is for the fabulous and most sought after Honda grandstand. In the heart of the Stadium area, the viewing is incredibly good and the giant video wall lets you follow all the action. The catering areas are packed with a mind-blowing choice of fresh foods all at reasonable prices. Because there is so much to see and do at the circuit we return to the hotel in the late afternoon way after the qualifying has finished. At the hotel maybe choose evening dinner in the restaurant. Or perhaps you want to join the MotoGP parties back at the circuit and in the centre of town. T7 Honda Grandstand

Sunday

Re-energised after a full English breakfast it's on to the coach to join 130,000 MotoGP fans from all over Europe at the circuit. Upon arrival at the circuit, resist the temptation to head directly for your seat. You're in Germany, so make your way to one of the giant beer tents and immerse yourself in that fine German tradition, the early morning beer! The atmosphere at this circuit is brilliant and the racing is always truly awesome. The 'Sachsenring' is every bit as good as the Italian or Spanish races and with typically efficient German organisation probably the best MotoGP of the season. Long may the MotoGP come to the Sachsenring!

Return to the hotel for our optional Celebration Dinner
We have arranged a tapas evening. We shall dine  grouped around long tables. The conversation just like the wine will flow late into the evening as we relive the excitement of the last few days.

Monday

After the excitement of the last few days indulge yourself and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, meet up with your newly made friends for the last time before heading for the airport and the flight home.
Perhaps you may choose to stay on for a few extra days. Chill-out and  lounge by the hotel pool or take a walk through the woods and visit the now much quieter  circuit.
